What are the deadlines?This program has limited slots, and registrations will cease once all slots are filled. Therefore, there is no specified deadline for registration. The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2024; results will be announced on July 25, 2024.

Is there a registration fee? What does the registration fee include?Yes, there is a registration fee for The Next Big Writer. The registration fee includes participation in the competition, a guaranteed participation certificate, and a personalized report with feedback on your submission. Additionally, the fee covers the cost of each entry according to a tiered approach: Rs. 749 for the initial entry, Rs. 629 for the second entry (upon approval of the first), and Rs. 519 for the third entry (after approval of the second). This structure allows participants to progressively share their work and receive valuable insights at every stage of their writing journey.

What is the topic we can write on? What genre can we write from?Writers have the freedom to submit essays, poems, articles, or short stories on ANY topic or subject of their choosing. There are no limitations imposed. Submissions may adopt any style and belong to any genre as per the writer's preference.

Is there any age limit?There are no age restrictions for entering the competition. Talent knows no age boundaries, so why should we impose them?

Can I submit multiple pieces within the same entry? How many pieces can I submit with one registration?Based on the number of submissions selected at registration, you may submit one, two, or three entries. If you wish to exceed the designated submission limit, you must register again. It's not permissible to include multiple pieces within a single entry or to submit more than the chosen number of entries (one or two, as selected during registration) using the same registration number. You are allowed to register multiple times under the same name. However, please note that the contest has limited slots available, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I submit pieces of writing that I have submitted or published elsewhere as well?Participants are permitted to submit original works that have not been previously showcased in any competition. The submissions must be authored by the participants themselves and should not involve plagiarism. Entries that breach these terms will be disqualified from the competition.
